THE FASHION FUTURE
FOR A REIMAGINED LOOP & LASALLE CORRIDOR
A bold new vision is taking shape in the heart of Chicago’s Loop.
Where creativity, commerce, and community converge to reenergize one of the city’s most storied neighborhoods.
The Chicago Fashion Vanguard, a new non-profit collective of seasoned fashion, creatives, and event producers, in partnership with the area’s stakeholders, will transform the Loop and the LaSalle Corridor into a dynamic hub of fashion innovation and cultural expression via runway shows, pop-up marketplaces, storefront takeovers, fashion exhibitions, educational programming, and more.
As the City and Chicago’s real estate community work to reimagine and revitalize this historic area, the Chicago Fashion Vanguard will bring life, color, and excitement back to the Chicago’s history Loop and LaSalle Corridor showcasing Chicago’s creative spirit and redefining what the future of downtown looks like.

-POSTPONEMENT STATEMENT-
Dear Chicagoans -
We wanted to share an important update regarding October 9th's The Curio "A Celebration of Chicago Style III" fashion show scheduled for October 9th in Millennium Park.
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to reschedule the show for a date to be determined in 2027. While we’re disappointed not to bring this vision to life this October, we believe this gives us the opportunity to build an even stronger experience and platform for Chicago's fashion community and enthusiasts.
We are committed to creating an event that truly celebrates Chicago’s fashion community, provides meaningful visibility for our designers, and delivers the best possible experience for everyone involved.
Additionally, the adjoining marketplaces under the Fashion Forward Chicago program: the Shops @ Monte Vista, and the Modern Vintage Market have also been postponed. Only the Stylist Symposium on October 9, 1-4pm, will continue as planned at the Chicago Cultural Center.
We are incredibly grateful to the Chicago fashion community and all Chicagoans for your support for this initiative. We will share the new 2027 date and additional details as soon as they are confirmed.
Thank you for your patience. We look forward to celebrating Chicago fashion with you in 2027. In the meantime you can enjoy programming from all of the various event partners this fall and beyond by visiting their individual websites.
